Download button for 7.0.1.4212 release does not work on Mac #535

How to reproduce
- Go to 'Help'
- Select 'Check for updates'
- Select 'Download'
Actual results
Button turns grey momentarily and upgrade screen disappears
Expected results
It is expected that the update will download and execute, but it does not. Nothing happens after the 'download' button.
