Sorry, I don't have experience with the metal cap probes. @cbimbo do you know of a use-case that @d45ha could be referred to? |

I remember other people asked this same question, but not sure I've heard about their implementation or results. But to be honest I think just removing the inside loop should be easy. @pipcoen do you think that's easy? @d45ha have you tried editing the CAD file a bit? |

Yes, it should be easy in CAD. If you watch some youtube videos--you just need to do a single extrusion cut |

Hi, apologies I am struggling to work out which part is the loop that you're referring to. Would you be able to send me a picture showing the part you mean? Is it the part I have circled here?

Ha! Actually I had forgotten, but there's no loop on this version of the lid (I was thinking of the NP2 alpha)! Then I guess you should be good to go. If the probe with the cap doesn't fit, you may have to increase the edges of the implant, which I think should be doable. |

I am hoping to use the APOLLO implant with NP2.0 probes with metal caps. It was suggested that I may have to cut the loop in the payload lid to give space for the metal cap. I don't have much experience editing CAD files, so I am wondering the best way to do this?
