How to cement poseterior implants?

Hi. I am already using the single NP2.0 payload + docking module but since my insertion is so posterior I wonder if anyone has any tips on how to cement it. There seems to be no space left at the back.

Hi! Can you give a little bit more information? What are the coordinates of your insertion? How many probes do you insert?

Hi. -4AP, -0.5 ML (measured from the right most shank). Implanting a single NP2.0 probe.

We've implanted probes at -3.8 AP quite often and didn't have this issue. You may be reaching the limit but here are a few thoughts:

• you could try one of the single-probe version of the implant, of which footprint is smaller. From this picture it also looks like the probe is anterior on the implant -- if that's correct maybe turning it 180deg would help?
• you could try build up a thick layer of cement at the back of the head before inserting the probes. Then attach the implant to this bulky part. We usually have a headplate at the back of the head (attached to the skull with cement over the back part of cerebellum and extending to the sides), and we attach the implant to that.
