Scanner errors #53
Comments
I have no clue if the issue is on my end or not. Maybe the scanner I use is temperamental and I should try another? Looking for any advice |
Can you share a screenshot of the error your see and the hardware + make/model/year of car you’re using? |
How can I send a screenshot here? |
You’ll have to do it on the web. |
Roger that. Will check back in when I get a chance to get all that together. Thank you |
I think I figured out my issue. It was just the order I was launching the apps in my automation. So for now I think you can safely ignore this. Two days in a row it’s worked perfect now. |
Oh what's your automation? |
I’m using lubelogger as a maintenance tracker and set up some api calls to record a daily odometer reading among other things. Main thing I use your app for is to pull the odometer reading, but I also have a reminder to fill up based on fuel level (I forget a lot lol) My car isn’t currently onboarded so I’m just making due with what there is for now. Hoping there will be more parameters some day. |
Currently loving the app, but have had a recurring issue. Whenever I get in my car, 9/10 times my scanner errors out not being able to find a vin, and I need to manually delete the scanner and reconnect to pull info
