I was curious if it was possible to be able to download an offline map of a city. There are some places where I have little to no proper working service, which when using navigation will just time out the request. It could be implemented maybe somewhat similarly to how it is done in Apple Maps where you select a general border of the city and download the map and when it times out or notices no internet or service, it will rely on the offline maps instead.

This would be useful, would the downloads have to be performed in Apple Maps to be available here?
