Maintenance status

Hi!

I see that the project has no activity from the developers during the last several months. The last release was in 2020. And at least for me, the project seems unmaintained.

I completely understand that developing and maintaining open source is too time-consuming and usually without any profit.

So I have several questions:

• Is the project actively maintained? Maybe you as maintainers just had busy months. Or maybe you've lost interest in the project?
• If you are not interested in the library anymore, can we try to find other maintainers and transit ownership?

Hi,

There was no activity because there was very little to do. The compatibility is still fine with PostgreSQL.

There's some ideas or discussions here and there, but the pain point at this time is how to have functional tests of the resource agent itself.

I suggest at least create a new release since I see from the latest release quite important changes in master branch. For the end-users it is much easier to use some released version comparing to some commit-locked version.

Well, there's no really important changes:

• some docs and comments
• some things in "extra/" (which would need much more attention), but not related to the agent itself
• bad version reported in doc

The only worthy commits are: def4ce9, 78328c6 and fdb3eb0, the later being only related to logging.

I spent quite a lot of time trying to figure how I could have a decent testing infrastructure since last version, but projects underneath my work are moving (vagrant, ansible, libvirt, ...) and I'm not quite sure what is the situation of this work now. Having such test infrastructure is important before adding (or removing) features, refactoring etc. Even a patch like 090164f could break some clusters because of a small typo...

But you're right anyway, It's time to make a release at least to show the project is still alive and include these few commits. The docs would need some dust cleaning as well, to add some more quick start or FAQ.
