Hi,

I am sorry to hear that version 2.0.2 was withdrawn from the addons.mozilla.org due to bugs.

Version 1.8.1 is good, a real achievement, but the addition of mermaid diagrams would make it great.

Sorry, I am not a developer and can't add things myself.

Was it adding mermaid or trying to view local files on Linux which corrupted the build?

Mermaid is a bit of a mess to include IIRC but doable.

v2 having to be pulled also showed that there was a lot of testing I’m not able to do and I didn’t even imagine was necessary. Things like on Mac, you can't do basic things like pasting a path to a file in a file opening dialog.

Additionally a lot of things were bundled together with this v2, like the ability to render in a dedicated worker thread, automatic reloading of changes, improved security, etc. That did have implications for mermaid as well. I'd have to look at the details of implementing one without the other.
