Community Role: Expand the CSL Policy Ecosystem
As CSL-Core and the Chimera ecosystem grow, we want to significantly expand the CSL policy library with real-world use cases.
To help with this, we are looking for a contributor who would like to help curate and grow the CSL policy ecosystem.
This role focuses on identifying real-world AI governance scenarios and turning them into good-first-issue policy tasks for contributors.
Objective
Create a large collection of real-world CSL policy tasks that contributors can implement.
This will help build a CSL Policy Library covering multiple industries and AI agent use cases.
Responsibilities
The person taking this task would:
• Research real-world AI agent use cases
• Identify governance or safety scenarios
• Open good-first-issue tasks for new CSL policies
• Use the existing CSL issue format for consistency
Example issue title format:
- policy: Finance "Transaction Limit Guard"
- policy: Healthcare "Prescription Safety Guard"
- policy: Customer Support "PII Protection Guard"
- policy: Cybersecurity "Unauthorized Data Export Guard"
Each issue should include:
- Context
- Goal
- Variables
- Requirements
- Definition of Done
Example Domains
Possible areas to explore:
• Finance agents
• Healthcare agents
• Cybersecurity automation
• Customer support bots
• Autonomous agents
• API usage limits
• Data access governance
• Multi-agent coordination
Why This Matters
The goal is to build a CSL Policy Library that demonstrates how AI systems can be governed through constraints.
Policies created through these issues can also be:
• showcased on the Chimera website
• used in the Chimera Runtime policy marketplace
• recognized as contributions in the Chimera Fellows program
Recognition
Contributors helping grow the policy ecosystem will be recognized as Chimera Fellows and their policies may appear in the Chimera Runtime policy marketplace.
