Clarification on Rate Limits in API Documentation for Self-Hosted Deployments #22
-
|
Hi team, I noticed the API documentation at https://openmemory.cavira.app/docs/api/add-memory
However, the GitHub repo emphasizes OpenMemory as a self-hosted, open-source
Thanks for the clarity! Really appreciate the work on this project. |

Hi, thank you for opening the issue. The rate limits are placed in the wrong location; these rate limits were our competitors' rate limits and were supposed to be placed in comparison, but it appears they appear to have been misplaced here. Once again, to remind you, we are and will be Open-Source. |

Thanks @nullure! Glad to confirm OpenMemory stays fully open-source with no built-in rate limits. Really appreciate the transparency and quick response. I'm actively evaluating OpenMemory for my AI agent projects. The self-hosted + no rate limits approach is perfect for what I need. |
