As the AQT does not have a dryer for its inlet sample, the true dry diameter of aerosols is unknown. During certain high humidity events like fog or precipitation, a spike in particulate matter is detected due the aerosol uptake of moisture which results in sizing bias of particles.

A mask should be developed for these instances to describe these events (using the AQT temp/humidity probe) and the WXT precipitation.

It should be noted that these events are very useful for determining fog at a location, so while it does create bias within the PM concentrations, could provide useful information in additional context. Therefore, I propose we flag these events and not necessary remove from datastream (or create a 'fog/precip' flag).
