"Forbidden" error when creating my first DMP

I created a new DMP under a new account and when I got to the Plan Overview I had an error that said "Forbidden" with no other information.

The Developer tools showed 404 errors.

Refreshing the page showed the same errors for getting /public-plans and /funder-requirements.

The 404 on the /public-plans and /funder-requirements issues are expected. Those pages don't exist yet in the frontend.

I am able to create projects and plans I tried with that NIH Default template too. Is it still giving you the error? I wonder if your access token expired and you're technically logged out

Mine still shows it when I log in fresh. Only on the Plan page, not Project page.

Just made a new Project with a different funder and got the same error on the DMP

I don't know that its blocking anything - I seem to be able to view and Plan and edit details and answer questions - just that that error bar is permanently showing

This is still happening for me for new accounts. It was right after logging in so I don't think it's just that I was logged out.

• I made a new account, becky.grady+invitee@ucop.edu (which has been invited from another plan so I had the added bonus of checking that I had that plan when I logged in, which I did!)
• Create a Project with NIH as the funder, Real project, no project details
• Select Generic NIH template
• Get to plan page and have "Forbidden" error persistent at the top

The error also shows on the project I was invited to.

Did some investigation and found that the Forbidden error is being thrown by the planFeedbackStatus check which is requiring the user to be an Admin or SuperAdmin. This line here

So, during the page load, it's trying to fetch the status of the latest feedback and is failing.
