This isn't directly related to additional styling, but allowing users to directly type in to the text field on the standard Date Picker component (as opposed to selecting a date from the calendar) would be immensely helpful. We have a date of birth entry on some forms, and less technically-inclined users seem to struggle inputting their birth date via the calendar selection. I've configured something via the input-mask plugin with some validation as a workaround, but it's not ideal.
