In order to calculate a more precise heat pump heating capacity in the building model, a database for the material data of water should be used (e.g. CoolProp).
- In addition to the temperature, the absolute pressure of the hydraulic system must also be entered by the laboratory for all substance data. In simplified terms, this could be assumed to be constant
- A distinction should be made between A) - direct mass flow measurement or B) - volume flow measurement.
- For option B) - volume flow measurement: A density should be determined from the substance database. For this, it must be specified by the user whether the volume flow is measured under supply or return temperature.
- Consideration should be given to using the alternative calculation approach for heat capacity according to EN 14511-3 Annex D: Directly using the specific enthalpy h instead of c_p * t.
