Peerd support for Kubernetes on Windows nodes

Does peerd today support Windows nodes for sharing Peer to Peer content? Documentation in the peerd repo does not clarify if Windows workloads are supported. For this work item to be closed, the peerd project should have:

• Status on Windows support, and if not, the steps necessary to achieve Windows support
• Clarify that the steps to deploy on Windows workloads would be no different from Linux workloads (that's the expectation)
• Performance benchmarks
