Missing AGIC pod?

When following the instructions to enable the AGIC add-on via the portal (rather than Helm):

Does it not create an AGIC pod in the AKS cluster? Everything seems to be working but I don't see a appgw-ingress-azure-xxxxx pod in the default namespace.
If it is handled externally somehow, how does one access the logs to troubleshoot it?

Nevermind.. it seems to have put it in the kube-system namespace instead of default.. Apologies - I should have checked..
