Once users complete the first steps of the onboarding, they should land on My Home, where they will see the Launchpad for the first time.

Moving this to review, as I am currently waiting for a design direction from stakeholders based on the updated milestones.

I'd love someone from dev (e.g., @autumnfjeld) to assess the feasibility of these options. My guess is that from here to 20 December, making any changes to the layout of my home / Launchpad is quite of a stretch, so my assumption is:

  • Let's focus on Site configuration / Launchpad tasks - the logic behind it.
  • Ensuring that all is well mapped and connected (features, themes, tasks, etc.)
  • Use the current design, as it is (maybe remove some modules from my home):

Any design iteration on this page or the launchpad component, I'd defer it to 31 January. Does that make sense?

That makes sense to me and it does a good job of offering a way forward for now that continues to address the bulk of the work needing to be done. My fear with this Dec 20th push is that folks will focus on shipping something over continuing to tackle the best end state of work.

This sounds good to me too.

maybe remove some modules from my home

We should communicate which modules these are and if they eventually show up again.

Yep, that sounds smart to me. For example:we will use the existing LP / My Home UI for this Newsletter work which Quake can start this coming week Connect Newsletter Goal with existing Newsletter launchpad tasks #96384.

Then in January we can properly define the layout/big UI changes for LP and My Home.
