What

Theme thumbnails are not loading on Safari. We still haven't reproduced it.

Reported in:

  • a user interview pekYwv-3FL-p2 and not reproduced in p1704990811160249/1704988298.117969-slack-C048CUFRGFQ
  • an internal report and also not reproduced in p1704178692942389-slack-C048CUFRGFQ
  • Ian has mentioned that Pablo (designer) also faced this issue. See pekYwv-3FL-p2#comment-2879

This might be related in some way to this other report of theme thumbs loading very slowly in p1695220692150659-slack-C048CUFRGFQ

Why

To support users on Safari.

How

  • Reproduce it and debug it
  • Otherwise, guess what can be happening:
    • Server or front end issue?
    • First load after clearing cache and local data?
    • First load after log-in?
    • Slow network?
    • Cookies?
    • Any special Safari settings?
