Question on Willow compatibility

Hello,
I own a Willow kernel based devices (8T), will this kernel works on it?
it has MIUI 12.5 and the device model is M1908C3XG.

Is necessary to flash also the system partition of ArrowOS or just compiling this custom kernel and flashing it will work ?
