This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
We invite all those who participate in our community to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone.
The following behaviors are expected of all community members:
- Be respectful and considerate of others.
- Be open to constructive criticism and feedback.
- Be welcoming to newcomers and willing to help others.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.
- Communicate professionally and avoid derogatory or - offensive language.
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind, including but - not limited to: offensive verbal or written comments - related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, - ethnicity, religion, or similar personal characteristic; - sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; - stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; - sustained disruption of talks or other events.
- Violence or threats of violence, including physical or - verbal abuse, or engaging in behavior that may cause - physical harm to others.
- Any behavior that creates an unsafe or hostile - environment, including but not limited to: being under the - influence of drugs or alcohol; possession of weapons; - using illegal drugs; or engaging in any illegal activity.
- Any form of retaliation against individuals who make good - faith reports of violations of this Code of Conduct.
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including - sponsors, organizers, volunteers, and participants, will - not be tolerated.
Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a community member engages in unacceptable behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the community without warning.
If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it as soon as possible to the project maintainers.
Reports will be kept confidential and will be investigated by the project maintainers.
