You want to disable the "checkout" button when there is no connectivity, for line 66 so I think it should be
[disabled]="cart.lines.length == 0 || !connected">

@Sammygracezhu I too believe the logic in the book is wrong... In that checkout button should be disabled either when cart is empty or the app is not connected
