Creating tags in-game

Hello, sorry that thing will never be added. This is not CMI, this is a tags plugin with so many options per tag that will make simply impossible to add such feature and might lead to errors, which i'm not willing to get tbh. As advertised, this is a tags plugin for owners to create tags in config for players to choose using our GUI.
Same goes for a feature to allow player select custom tags, whole system was not made for that.

You dont have to use a GUI.

DeluxTags allows creating tags in-game using a command.

Another option would be creating a tag based off an item name in-game, players/staff can create a custom named item that the name of could use for the Tag to be created and lore for its description.

People run servers differntly, not everyone has all the time in the world to do litearlly everything and like to be able to deligate creating content to other staff or players.

I gave permission for staff to create tags in deuxtags on my test server, and they were able to just create them without the need for coding or syncing files or anything like that.

But this is not DeluxeTags, people run server differently and developers run plugins differently. DeluxeTags has 4 options: identifier, tag, displayname and lore. AlonsoTags' tags have just too many options to just allow using a simple command to create a tag, if I added such thing then people would start "how to modify Material with the command?", "how to edit locked lore with the command?", "how to edit tag price with the command?". I need to think of one solution that fits people needs and what they think a feature means, but making such complex system as a gui is not on my plans tbh as since start i decided that tags would be created in config only.

Additionally, people need to stop comparing DeluxeTags and AlonsoTags, DeluxeTags has literally 1 identifier and 1 tag associated, AlonsoTags needs to save purchased tags, enabled tag, enabled color, and parse placeholders in tag when used (plus new features i added), hence why I need to think really well how to manage such changes and update players loaded data in case of an existing tag is updated.

Give me some time to think about it, currently focused on pending updates which are priority for me.

Alright. I can help with designing simple data storage if you need help with database schema, a simple ID per tag/player would be the best way to simplify it all.

A database schema is how a database is designed, using ID's for tags and players in the database makes selecting data easily in SQL.

Its a simple resolve for your "issues" reply, everything you are worried about is fixed with simple database design and SQL.

Honestly no, how a sql solves an issue for creating tags with a command?
If syncing tags between server is an issue, thats a completely different thing than creating tags with a command.
Additionally, syncing tags that way will not be a thing.
