AllSky Fan Control Module - using it twice for separate tasks

Hi folks, new AllSky users, just getting my system (RPi4) set up.

Looking at the AllSky Fan Control Module for controlling both a Fan Hat (DFRobot 0672 - write to i2c register) using internal board/CPU temperature, and controlling an external fan for ventilating the enclosure based on readings from a DHT22..

I can set up the AllSky Fan Control Module for one task, eg one temp sensor and one fan.

Quite possibly a dumb question, but wondering if its possible to install this module twice (for the want of simplistic approach), so that i can configure each of its respective purpose?

OR is there a better way to do this?

The current version only supports a single fan but in the next release, we are working/testing this now, you can control two fans

At present a module can only exist once at the moment. Its on the list to allow a module to be added more than once but not sure when we will get to that

Thanks Alex, sounds great on both aspects.
For my fan hat from DFRobot, to control that need to be able to write a value between 0 and 9 to an i2c register used by the hat.
(note fan control appears to be 0=off, 1=100%, 2 through 9 = 20, 30, 40.. 90%..)
Is that something you envisage might be possible with the update/s you are currently looking at?

I can give it a go. That board is discontinued so I wont be able to test here but I can certainly try and get it working with your help in testing
