Yes will create an issue to add this. I am currently doing a major refactor of the module logic so its a good time to add it |

Hi Alex!
Many thanks for your answer!
I have one more question:
Would it be conceivable for the dex heater module to use measures from a device via ascom
alpaca such as the Pocket Powerboxes (micro, advanced or ultimate) or
the Uranus Meteo Sensor box from Pegasus Astro as weather data source?
I know that there is a python library called Alpyca that exists to connect to alpaca drivers but didn't tried it by myself :µ

I'll start looking at this during this week, bear in mind this is a 'hobby' so I cannot give definite timescales. It would be better to get the data via ascot if possible as its far easier to add other devices but I will see what I can do |

I have added this in the new module code I am working on. There is no release date for this just yet but its there and working ! |

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if it would be possible/easy to implement a PWM system for the heater operation?
At the moment, in order not to run the heater all the time (so that it doesn't heat up more than necessary) I have to play with the ‘Delay’ and ‘Max Heater Time’ parameters (Delay every 5s and Max Heater Time for 15s, per example the heater is set to ON for 15s and OFF every 4 iterations and 5s long).
This works quite well, but I have the impression that I'm deviating from the expected behaviour.
I'm open to discussion on how to develop the algorithm.
