Which version is suitable for Windows 7 Ultimate SP1? #128
-
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 with i5-3470 CPU (it is enough for win 7 but not eligible for win 10+). On the release page, I am confused because there are so many versions here. I want to know which x86 version is suitable to use? |

Most modern processors support the SSE3 instruction set by default, and you requested the x86 version, so I made the above choice.
As for the SSE2 version, the performance of this version may be poor, and Google has officially switched to the SSE3 instruction set many years ago, so I don’t recommend it to you.
The other versions do not meet your needs, so I have excluded them all.
In addition, based on your processor documentation [1] and your device situation, in the best case scenario, you can choose to use the x64 version with the AVX instruction set enabled [2].
