I have over 600 songs installed in Beat Saber and when I want to add a new song or playlist, the scanner scans all my songs each time and causes high CPU usage and long waiting times during download. You can't even click on something or search online songs only.
I would be happy about a pause button for the scanner so that you only have to scan all songs once if you are compiling playlists.
Maybe you can optimize this so that you only add the songs you download into the cache instead of scanning all songs again each time.
