After finishing interacting with the installation dialogue, the terminal doesn't appear to have a localised keyboard setting. I think US (English) is probably the default. This could potentially result in passwords being set, that aren't those intended by the user.
Consider enabling installer script to set and confirm keyboard mapping, before proceeding to setting passwords.
