hello_world example asking for an app to open the file "hello"

Hello guys,

I have some experience working with rez, but now I am trying to set it up from scratch. I did what the README says and built the hello_world example package. As soon as I try to execute the hello command, windows asks me to select an app to open "hello".

rez-env hello_world -- hello

What am I missing here?
