X does not work when viewing diff

**Describe the bug**
The X button to close the diff view window does not work.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Enter username
2. Enter repository name or URL
3. Click 'get commits'
4. Click show diff on any commit
5. Attempt to click the X

**Expected behavior**
Expect the diff window to close

**Desktop:**
 - OS: MacOs 15.0
 - Browser: Safari
