Roadmap adapters need a minimal role: brain type plugin per spec/type-plugin.contract.md — bind/teardown, type.bound events, no vendor in core.
Scope: membrane overseer only (drift classification, nudge text for escalations) — not a second agent orchestrator replacing the user's body brain. User may supply overseer LLM; default path uses rules/observers without extra model.
Proposed behavior
aura/adapters/brain_stub.py + tests + architecture extension note. Deferred until reference-host epic stable.
