DART 3 - Mac - Dragging and dropping from Desktop

Is it possible to get dragging and dropping back from the Desktop? This was a very attractive and user-friendly option for less technical users.
I've noticed that at least on Mac/Apple Silicon, you can still drag and drop a file but it doesn't properly load:

I'm going to look into a solution for this. I'll update this ticket when I have more info.
