Notes (quotes, entries, and comments) alongside rough implementation plans need to start somewhere.

A PR will not need to be made for this issue.

This issue can be used for any broad considerations regarding the re-implementation and exploration of the model in TDWMFC-2024.

Steps in adding value to the work contained in this paper:

  • Python utilities for the two models.
  • Theorem-proof verification in Lean.
  • Expansion of "possible modeling ingredients/events".
    • Figures for some expanded implementations.
  • Attempt to fit DFM/DWM to the United States or subsets of its population (e.g. farmers).
  • Glossary

Reasons:

  • To become more familiar with cliodynamics.
  • To make working with the models more accessible.
  • To make experimentation with the models easier.
  • To become more familiar with nonlinear dynamics.
