Description
High explosive rounds only do direct impact damage to physical props and players, as demonstrated by the following AdvDupe2 save file: http://puu.sh/1mA4z Hold Numpad 9 to fire the autocannon and take note as the soda cans surrounding the central target are not destroyed. The target, when destroyed, creates a darkened, AP style debris.
An exception to this seems to be ACF ammo crates - when in the radius of an HE round explosion, they take damage and cook off as intended.
This brings up a related issue - ammo crate explosions only seem to do damage to scripted entities. Spawn an ammo crate with a lot of propellant, then spawn some bouncy balls and helibomb props around it, then set it off with the ACF torch and see what happens.
