Trying to open files before the folder tree is loaded gives an undefined variable error #8
Description
The code path invoked by opening files before the folder tree is loaded has presumably never been tested, and crashes. It also doesn't really look reasonable, at a glance.
The offending code can be found on line 212 of fileSystem.js.
