BatchGen Text with AI is a Windows desktop app by 3thousand30 for generating batches of written content using AI — blog posts, LinkedIn posts, X threads, short stories, technical docs, and more.
You bring your own AI API key (BYOK). The app connects directly to the provider of your choice — no middleman, no subscription, and no file storage operated by us.
Get it on Microsoft Store{: .btn .btn-blue }
- Set your writing voice — choose a persona to define the tone, style, and quality bar for the whole batch
- Load writing samples (optional) — the app reverse-engineers your writing style so output sounds like you
- Pick your content list — a simple CSV or YAML file with titles, themes, and optional per-article notes
- Generate — the app sends each item through the AI and saves the output to a timestamped folder on your machine
A batch of 20 articles takes a few minutes. All files save locally — no cloud upload, no account required.
- 9 AI provider presets — OpenAI, DeepSeek, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, Together AI, xAI, Fireworks, Cerebras, or any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint
- 7 content templates — Blog Article, LinkedIn Post, X/Twitter Post (with thread mode), Facebook Post, Short Story, Technical Document, and a fully editable Custom template
- Writing Style DNA — load a few of your own articles and the AI reverse-engineers your voice, sentence patterns, and vocabulary
- Quote injection — load a YAML quote bank; relevant quotes are woven in naturally per article
- Preview before committing — generate just the first item and review it in-app before running the full batch
- 24 built-in languages — pick any language from a radio-button picker; each language shown in its own script. Custom option covers 60+ additional world languages
- Built-in example files — open ready-to-use CSV/YAML content lists, writing samples, and quote banks directly from the app
- Secure API key storage — keys are encrypted on-device using Windows DPAPI, never sent anywhere except directly to your chosen AI provider
- Getting Started — install, configure, and run your first batch
- Content List Format — CSV and YAML format reference
- Writing Samples — how to load your own writing style
- Choosing an AI Provider — compare providers by cost, speed, and quality
- Finding Your Base URL — what Base URL is and where to find it for each provider
- Troubleshooting — common errors and how to fix them
