RTS522A PCI Express – Not mounting cards in macOS Sonoma/Sequoia

My Lenovo T490 comes with an RTS522A PCI Express Card Reader. It only works in Sonoma/Sequoia if the Micro SDCard is inserted prior to booting macOS. Once the card is ejected, it will no longer be mounted when re-inserting it.

I have no idea how to fix this.
