BSD-3-Clause Question

The README.md file suggest that the project is licensed under the BSD-3-Clause license, yet nowhere is this license distributed within the project or within it's binaries, so I'm a bit confused.

Is this a fully proprietary project? If so then the inclusion of BSD-3-Clause is misleading.

BSD-3-Clause does not require source code distribution unfortunately, the only 3 requirements of BSD when distributing is that

• Includes the header notice
• Includes the license in distributon
• When redistributing, does not mislead consumers into thinking the original author endorses your offering

The odd part in this case is, someone could just take the binaries, say its their own by making a few funny edits to the binary, then charge for it while hiding the attribution - so idk what the authors goal here is other than flexing his projects, while not actually growing the community

I'd love to help add BCM4360 support as I think root patches are not the best path forward for our last hackintosh version, but alas...

yes, so long as you meet these two/three caveats:

1. Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer.
