Latency

From my experience, the speedometer scores vary quite wildly and most importantly are not a measure of "latency" as you're describing. I will improve the responsiveness of wBlock moving forward, but the memory footprint of the app as well as energy consumption is significantly lower than with uBlock Origin Lite in my experience. |

I am getting modest performance hit on Safari when using wBlock 1.2.1 (Speedometer 3.1 test score ~43) compared to uBOL (Speedometer 3.1 test score ~46, which is almost the same to having no extension). I noticed some elements take a while to remove when loading pages vs perceptibly instantaneous under uBOL. A decent website to test would be nationalpost.com. I am on macOS 26.2. Attached is my filter list.
Any idea what might have caused this and whether the latency would likely improve in the next release?
